In Luke 8, as Jesus went from town to town preaching the good news of the Kingdom, He wasn't traveling alone. Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Susanna, and many other women traveled with Him too. The Bible says they "provided for them out of their means." (Luke 8:2-3, ESV) They weren't the ones preaching. They were standing in partnership with the harvest, making sure the ministry never stopped.
